I need to buy my glass. Im building a 17 foot Guillemot and planning on the standard schedule. Nick's material list calls for 27 yards but has no width guidence. The text claims that 'with careful cutting a 20 yard length will cover a whole boat.'

So how wide, how long? 6oz plain weave e-glass, right? and i know....rolled!
Are all '6 oz plain weave e-glass' the same

Tape....should I buy tape or cut bias strips from the glass above? do i need to add glass to the lenght or width above to account for this? If I buy tape are there charactistics to look for.
