I'm considering building a "Putz" design skin boat and don't see any hardware provisions for securing bow and stern lines. The kayak center section will be supported by a Yakima rack/cradles and straps securing it. I'd like to secure the bow and stern to the car's bumpers. I would like something more attractive than eye-bolts at the kayak ends so that I can run lines to the bumpers when I cartop it. Is there attractive hardware or other method to allow attaching of lines to the bow and stern?
