Faring by hand..more fun than I should be allowed

Just spent a whole afternoon first hand planing then faring with a homemade faring block like the one in Nicks book. What a blast!!! I would highly recommend everyone do this at least once in their lifetime. It is such a great feeling seeing your pile of sticks turn into a beautifully shaped boat. I will probably do a final sanding with the ROS but I don't think it will compare with today. Thanks for all of your very kind comments about my boat.

I did manage to drop the bow on the floor from about 4 feet yesterday, I was rolling it over and it got away from me. Minor damage though, nothing a little duct tape, rope and glue couldn't fix. ;)
