Wish I could take credit for that boat but no, it is the seat I was making reference to on "Green Valley Canoes" web site. I emailed you a pic of my seat and Freedom 17', I do not have a web site to post it.

The seat is comfortable but a little loose. Make it as close together as you can and make it tight. I used a 1/4" drill I think, I better check that when I get home, my memory is not good. The number of holes on the round back must match the number in the front bar as they stitch together.
