I'm stripping the deck of my Spring Run. I ran out of duct tape that I was using for holding the strips while the glue dried (as Spidey does). I bought the cheapest roll of duct tape at HoDePo and found that the adhesive sticks better to the wood than it does to the tape.

How do I get the adhesive scum off the wood?

Can anyone recommend a better type of tape. Masking tape is too weak.
