I live in Jacksonville FL and the Lowes here still carries it. They also now have a beautiful ply (4 mm) called "cupay" which is a rich dark red or brown with nice grain pattern. However, it seems a little heavier than the door skin. I also looked in the yellow pages under plywood and found two local sources that carry it. I'm going to look there because the Lowes has a thick inner ply with paper thin outer plys.
