Does anyone know how much stronger S-fiberglass is than standard E-glass? What if I want a standard strength layup but want to save weight without skimping on wood thickness. Would 4 oz. S-glass give me the same strength as 6 oz. E-glass? Also, what about the "Satin weave" fiberglass? I heard it is supposed to require less resin (giving you a better strength to weight ratio) than plain-woven fiberglass of the same weight. Is that true?
