OK, back from the business trips, and still trying to work on the Coho. BTW, thanks for the comments about getting uncured epoxy off the hull planks- a little denatured alcohol, some sanding, and I'm back in business.

So I've glued together most of the plank sections to get the full length planks - there are two seams per full length plank. I've got about 1/8 to 1/4 inch of epoxy/glass on each seam, and some "less than nice" feathered edges (i.e., a few hard edges of epoxy). My questions are: should I try to sand down the thickness of the epoxy seam to the thickness of the tape? And should I try to feather the hard edges of epoxy? Or, will these issues/problems/blemishes not be significant once I glass the hull?
