: Fiberlay has a web site somewhere.

: 1-800-942-0660

: clear gel coat is $17.96 / qt
: colored gel coat is $16.46 / qt
: custom matching is $15.00 or $50.00 extra
: white gel coat is $16.46 / qt

How much gelcoat is needed for a 10 ft. kayak?
Can gelcoat be put on over epoxy with epoxy pigment in it? ( This would be to try epoxy pigment and if it doesn't work use gelcoat)

: : : : I'm planning on building a fiberglass kayak, and wondered if when laying the fiberglass out, if in areas it overlaps, will that show in the finished product? I'm planning on using epoxy pigments to color the boat and thought it would probably cover that up. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

: : : If you use a gel coat and one complete piece for the outermost layer (ie the first) you will not see any interior overlapping.

: : Nick, are there any places on the net where I can get gelcoat and prices?
