colored fillets?

As i was doing the interior of my newest boat, I thought what if for the exposed epoxy fillets i added some color? So i did... 1. measured amount of epoxy, then mixed it. 2. added microballons and mixed again, when the epoxy was almost where i wanted i added some food coloring, then mixed until desired thickness. once i applied the fillets (in the cockpit) with the color blue added to my mixture it looked great. Has anyone done this? or does anyone know why i should not have done it? The fillets are cured and seem to be just as strong as any other i've done, they look very good and now i can coordinate the primary color of my boat with the exposed fillets.
