Sounds like you and Rob agree about the rollers. Although I bought them in the epoxy section at Boater's World, I don't know if they were from West, but their proximity to all the other epoxy stuff led me to believe they were meant for epoxy. I'll be getting some West rollers before I do the deck.

Based on all the comments, I'm beginning to suspect the the resin/hardener containers were too warm. The very first batch, the very first few rollouts started producing the whitened areas. Next time, I'll let the epoxy remain at room temp; 70-75 degrees.

I find it a bit frustrating that the books I've read recommend heating the containers beforehand to thin the mix, and yet based on your and other's comments, this probably contributed to the problem.
