Hi George;

I'm just a guest here, and a fairly new one at that. I'd like to look back at this "few-month-long-haitus-from-earning-a-living" fondly . . . The kayak building has been great, this forum has been great, and the people I've met have been great. That includes you. What I said in the previous post was said in anger. Your layups are probably light and strong. I apologize.

Now that that's out of the way, sooner or later I'll have to get back to work and earn a living - That will make kayaks a part-time hobby for me - Drat! I closed my biz after 21 years, and took an extended "vacation" starting Jan 1 of this year. It has been wonderful. It would have been even MORE wonderful if I had started on the kayak immediately - - But all good things must end, and I probably should start a new biz before I spend that last of my Y2K gold coin fallback . . . 8-)

Best Regards, Spidey
