Hi All,

Just to mention to those who may be interested.

The April 2000 issue of Scientific American has an article called "The Aleutian Kayak" that discusses some of the history and the design features of the baidarka.

I always found the flexible hull of the baidarka to be very interesting - such a different approach than our rigid hulls.
