Skeg Question: Building a Cheasapeake 17 Lt, and am finishing up sanding the hull prior to glassing. I have a skeg kit and was wondering if it would be better to install it prior to the deck going on, and possibly prior to glassing the hull?

Footbrace Question: Installing Yakima footbraces. Definetly putting these in before I glass the hull and put on the deck. Any words of wisdom. I figure I'll be mounting them to some pieces of plywood (is luann ok?) and then epoxying them to the inside hull. Thanks.
