Unhappy epoxier/sander revisited

Well I managed to fill the rest of the weave after a fourth coat but the second was VERY lumpy and after many hours of RO sanding with 80 grit I still have pea sized dimples occasionally, as well as now being able to see the white of the weave in spots. From the info in the archives I'm guessing my best plan is to put on one more coat of epoxy. Can I apply this over the 80 grit sanded surface or do I need to sand with finer paper first? How should I clean the hull? water and scotch brite and then towel off? Providing I applly the last coat smoothly what should I sand it with. Thanks in advance TB
