Guys:

I am learning a LOT in this BBS. Not only about kayak building, but about people, culture, friends and misc.

But (there's always a "but") I do agree with Don's point of view regarding the tons of off topic messages (this one included).

If you enjoy the sense of community that sometimes brings us to talk about "no so extremely related KBBS issues", maybe we can all suggest Nick to open a new BBS, this one just for gathering together all of us in some kind of "after work" meeting.

We could open a new BBS somewhere else, for sure. But it won't be the same (just my guessing...).

Here, we could hyperlink one topic issue to the off topic BBS anytime we want to. And, most important of all, we could be gathered together around Nick's site (the mentor of this BBS).

Maybe this idea means some extra cost to Nick. More disk storage, more bandwith... Thinking as a community, we can solve this problem too.
