12-1/2 degree Block Plane

Wow!

I finally received my Record block plane from Harbor Freight Tools today, and Nick was right in all regards - - A 12-1/2 degree adjustable throat block plane is the absolute best wood cutting instrument I have ever laid hands on. It is identical to, and probably the exact same item as the Stanley 60-1/2 . . .

Compared to my "other" block plane, there is a night and day difference. I am (almost) speechless . . . :-)

Best Regards, Spidey
