Machinist's Flea Market FL - This Week

Fellow Builders;

I meant to post this earlier in the week - The huge annual machinist's flea market opened in Zolfo Springs, FL on Wednesday, March 1st, and will continue through Sunday, March 5th. Over 70,000 people have attended each year for as long as I can remember. There are hundreds of booths with every conceivable tool, fastener, abrasive, etc. all selling wonderfully cheap.

I go every year to restock on sanding belts, disks, saw blades, drill bits, endmills, whatever I consume, plus always looking for bargains. I am going tomorrow (Thursday) at about 9AM, and it will probably take the whole day just to see the high points. If you live in FL and weren't aware of this annual event, do yourself a favor and pay a visit. People come from all over this country and Canada to attend.

General Directions: It is on State Rt. 64 in Hardee county. Just drive until the 55mph highway slows to 5mph and all you can see are cars and motorhomes in the fields, and pedestrians streaming across the 2-laner . . . You've arrived!

Best Regards, Spidey (Ken)
