Rigging Bow & Stern Ends

After looking at the Mariner kayak functional rigging designs and those of several other boats, it looks like a rigging purchase point at the bow and stern kayak ends would be pretty useful.

Has anyone tried installing purchase points in these locations on a Pygmy or similar peaked decked kayak? It seems like the peak running down the boat's centerline would interfere with the installation. What kind of fitting would you use and how can you maintain the boat's unadorned aesthetic?
