Sit on top S&G??

OK, this may get me banned from this BBS but... Has anyone ever seen any plans for a sit on top style Stich & Glue Kayak? I just paddled one for the first time and I think a really good one could be made in S&G.

I just got back from San Diego where the weather is a lot better for paddling than in my Home Town of Seattle. Water Temp 68 degrees on Mission Bay. I was there for business, but had a few hours to spare. The beach near my hotel had rental place that had some plastic sit on top kayaks for rent. (really stable but wont track worth a darn) I was just so glad to be out on the water in anthing that floated that I did not realize how much fun I was having in that style of boat.

I have never seen any plans for this style of kayak and I wonder why not?

Any thoughts?

Mike
