I didn't fill the weave on the inside of either the deck or hull. Am I supposed to sand the inside edge a bit where the tape will lay, or would this reduce the cloth's strength too much? Or does the unfilled weave provide for enough surface area for a good bond?

I guess this question also applies to the installation of bulkheads and cheek plates, too.
