Marine plywood out West, Where??

Hi, My name is Larry "Rehd" Brown and I reside in Fresno, California. A few friends and myself got infected by the kayaking Bug here recently, while on a camping and relaxing retreat at a local lake. We have plans for a "stitch and glue" style canoe, and two sets of plans for kayaks. We have a conglomerate of skills, but, we have no source of marine grade plywood here that we can find. Well, there was one, and he had to order it from a boat Builder a few miles away, and I'm sure the mark-up was gonna be astronomical. We're looking for a dealer in the San Juaquin Valley or on the coast near Monterey or Morro Bay. We do a bit of fishing in both places, so it would be no problem picking up materials. We also need fiberglass in sizes larger than 1 sq. yrd. as that's what most stores around here carry. For repair work, I'm sure. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I hope we can get started on this soon, as you all know how it is when you get frustrated with something at the start. Interest drops off and ............ Thanks for the help, in advance.

A Prospective new Kayaker & friends, Rehd
