drip skirt-not spray skirt

Hi all

Back in the long distant past, I have seen some designs for drip catchers to be used on quiet waters when a spray skirt would not be needed. As I recall, part of the design included a few battens and light plastic or nylon fabric. I can't find anything by searching the index and have the feeling it might be in the old index. Can anyone help?

TIA, Alice
