First of all, this is not meant as a commercial. That said, just thought some of you might be interested in another boat to build. We have taken our S&G Loon kayak and are doing it up as a strip-built version. This is an eastern Canada style kayak with an assymetrical hull and the cockpit a bit aft of center. We obviously have not yet paddled the stripper, but the S&G is a fun boat with pretty good initial and very good secondary stability (at least for my mediocre paddling skills). It tracks well and turns easily when leaned. It is 18' long and has a 22" beam. It has a sharp shear and a simple cambered deck.

We aren't going to be selling plans, but I would be willing to put up a web page with the offsets and other building info free to anyone interested. Would just ask that it be used for personal use. Well, one more possible boat to build. A few more photos at the link below. Grant
