Outrigger on pygmy

Quick thank you for the first annual wooden kayak symposium, It was fun to see the other kayaks there, would have stayed longer but had a bunch of other things to do that weekend as well.

Anyway, I'm looking for ideas on adding an outrigger to a pygmy coho. I want the outrigger for two reasons. One is perhaps the equivelent of training wheels if I let people borrow the kayak. The main reason is scheming for building a smaller kayak for my daughter and having her kayak be an outrigger off my kayak.

Its a temorary thing, so I would prefer not to make any drastic, ugly permanent modifications to the Coho.

Do I just shape a saddle to fit the deck, run the outrigger under deck lines, or epoxy in some fixture?

thanks dave
