Help - mounting guzzler foot pump

I just bought a couple of Guzzler foot pumps and want to mount them into CLC Cheasapeake 17&16

Any suggestions from the recent attempts???

Anyone try an adjustable mount for different leg lengths?

Suggestions on intake or outlets?

I assume the outlet is purely decorative (since the pump will not allow backflow). I'll put a flapper just under the sheer clamp.

Intake is different - I assume the lowest point in my boat is right under the seat. I'll need to snake a hose back from the pump. Has anyone used any specialized fittings to keep the hose in the right place without reducing flow and slowing the pump?

Thanks, Mark
