hi all;

I read in eariler posted notes that women never post stuff. Well here goes.

I started lofting the guilemot exped. in january 99 from the guillemot book. After many hours of delight and frustration I am done. I thank the many suggestions on this posted it, bulleton board. There were many gifted idea...(i like the binder clipps as clapps the most) that helped my progress. I do not have the computor capacity to post pictures of my completed product but it is beautiful.

I altered the plans very slightly , I lofted on a 1 1/8 " sq. basis rather that inch square. this made a larger guillemot expedition...18 & 1/2 ft. I used both red cedar and white spruce to make a pattern on the deck. I am still doing little things like bulkheads, and the seat.

I tried the kayak in the water (lake)yesterday...it handled better than I had dreamed. One stroke sweep, turned the boat 40 degrees. I love it. I kayak in british columbia lakes, and have only been to the ocean on one occation, but now I have and excuse to go to the ocean more often.

thanks for your help...i have learned that the simple things in life are often the most satisfying.
