Oops - such a little word, such huge implications.

I am using the cut outs from my Chesepeake 18 deck for recessed hatch covers. I glued and clamped the braces (that make the hatch curve) underneath and let the whole thing set overnight. When I looked at them today I saw one of the clamps had slipped and the brace glued itself away from the cover. I was able to use a small saw to remove the offending glue (MAS epoxy/slow hardener with West 406) but in the process another clamp slipped and the second brace popped off the cover. When it rains it pours.

As I see it my options are:

1. Carefully clean out the old separated glue, put more in, clamp and hope for the best.

2. Pop, saw or otherwise remove the braces and glue them in again.

3. Remove the braces as above and find another method for making the covers curved.
