I plan to design, build, and install a retractable skeg for my Ches. 17 (deckless currently and under construction) based on my recollection of a design I once saw in an old SK magazine (circa 1995?). I'll have to spend some fair time looking for that issue as it resides in the abyss of my basement, which is shared by too many other things. Before I start the design, thought I'd check in to see if there are folks that have a successful design that they wish to share or know of any sites for ideas. Thanks. ~p.
