The Joy of Stripping

So I've got this other fairly curvaceous spot to strip, so I carefully take the thinnest strip and carefully clamp, tape, staple, jam, ram the barstid in place and after about 15 mins and on the last fairly simple bend - CRACK! Rats!

So I take off all the clamps and get another tiny thin strip and verrrrry carefully put it in place just like before but knowing now where the hard part is see. And I know what to do and the confidence soars and when I get to the very same spot - CRACK! . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

So I take off all the clamps and get another thin, thin little strip and now I REALLY know what the score is, so I really carefully put it in place. And don't you know it, it's there and nooo problem cause I got it figgered.

But by now its cleanup time, and so I spend 10 minutes putting away all the loose ends and sweeping up a few curls of cedar shavings and then I take one last fond look as I go to turn off the light, and turn my back and . . . hear . . . . . . . . . . . . crack!
