resin starvation

I'm building a twelve foot strip planked racing dinghy and I've started glassing the outside of the hull after applying a sealing coat of epoxy. I'm using six ounce cloth laid across the boat from gunwale to gunwale. So far I have wet out two of the five strips of cloth that are needed to cover the whole boat. Time limitations have prevented me from wetting out all the cloth in one go! However, I have noticed that on the two strips that I have wet out already there are frosty patches which suggests that these are areas where I have forces insufficient resin into the cloth. The cloth in these patches does however appear to have bonded to the wood in these areas. Is it possible to cure this problem? I was hoping to leave the outside of the hull in a natural state rather than paint it and the whitish areas will I think reduce the appearance of the boat.
