bead & cove cutters for routers

I have ordered (from Woodworkers Supply) a set of Cove and Bead bits to shape 1/4 in strips for a kayak. From the catalog dimensions I have noted that the radius of the both the bead and cove are 1/8 in. Should they be 1/4 in? If so, where can they be purchased. Also, I have read that Lee Valley markets a "Veritas Beading Tool" with a wood handle and integrated fence and a set of cutters that can carve bead and cove shapes. Has anyone had experience with this? I previously purchased strips and have decided to do-it-myself this time.
