Well I finally got around to scanning the latest pics of SWIFTWOOD.

I put thickened epoxy on the ends of the wood to protect the endgrain from water intrusion, I just have to smooth it out, and probably put some glass on it.

This concludes work until I get into the new place.

As you can see the maststeps turned out rather beefy.

I now plan on making the floats fold in so I can leave them permanently attached. This will make the craft 40in wide when folded, still narrow enough ( I hope ) to be paddled with a Greenland paddle. This will also let me get at stores in the floats while in the water.
