Yippie! I have been working on my first paddle and have also been working on a custom sprayskirt. I was hoping to get both finished before the kayak symposium extravaganza in Tampa next week but the sprayskirt is not done and I will be out of town for several days prior to the kayakfest. Anyhow, I have finished (mostly) the greenland style paddle and am very happy with it. That is to say, I like the way it looks. After the symposium, which has a course on Greenland style paddling, I may even be able to use it. In any event, I am eager to get it wet. It feels great.
