I just started the first part of buildiong the strongback and cutting the forms out. I HAVE NOW OFFICALLY STARTED to buildmy first kayak. I HOpe to be done my mid late summer.

What else you will not believe that neither Home Depot or Lowes carries 1/2" particle board. They have MDF, but not particle board. It is just me or does this not seem to be a staple in a store called a LUMBER STORE? The manger said that they just quit carring the item, no real reason. Quick go buy all the 2x4's you can, they may quit selling those as well.
