I purchased the 5oz cloth and used it on the hull of the Spring Run that I am building. I think that it worked out just great. This is my first kayak but I followed all the directions for the resin and cloth that was provided and it appears that everything came out just fine.

I discussed this with Larry at Raka and he was very helpful and made me very comfortable that he was giving me good advice. The cloth does have a satin finish (close weave) but it received the resin well and was quick to satuate.
