Pull a tight string from bow to stern right down the center of the hull. Duct tape can be used to hold the string at each end. Then go to the region where you suspect wobble in the vertical plane. Measure from the string to the shear clamp on each side. Compare the results. I have done this to determine any differences from each side of the hull to the centerline.
