Canoes: ABS Mad River Explorer (purchased in 1978), homebuilt redwood stripper.
Kayaks: Klepper Aerius II (3 of them, really good for when you once could take them as baggage on aircraft), Pygmy Osprey triple.
Canoe trips on rivers and lakes in Quebec (before Quebec Hydro), Belize and Alaska; Kayak trips on salt water, rivers and lakes in Alaska, coastal day trips off Maui, sea kayaking in Belize and Virgin Islands. Completed La Ruta Maya Belize River Canoe Challenge 2002, finishing 22nd with two teammates.
