Boat fof me?

After starting this project for Jayne (clc 16) I'm thinking about what I liked about kayaks. I'm also thinking that I'd like to build my mext boat as a kayak. I have a canoe that suits me quite well. My thoughts are bidarka? or West Geenland? I'm aware that either of these will require a lot of work on my part to become comfortable and proficient with. If any of you could offer advice. I don't need a lot of carryiing capacity, but I'm 6'2" #210 so the boat needs some capacity. but it is a good bet that it'll not cary more than I'll need for one day. If I go bidarka I'll go SOF since I've been carying spruce stringers aroud for about 15 years, West Greenland, well in spite of the problems with weather I've encountered with Jayne's boat I think that I'd like to go SnG. Any design recomendations? thanks
