canvas kayak

Hi to Rehd and West,
Thanks for your info on the canvas covering for the kayak we're rebuilding. We have it stripped and have replaced some of the bad frame,but all in all, it looks pretty good for 50 yrs. old! Will gladly send some pictures when it's completed. I was a little confused on the paint. Will latex paint mix with boiled linseed oil? One other question,do you use a special type of glue to glue it to the keel?
