strips moved on Guillemot kayak - Problem?

Oh my... I am soo hooked. I think that this kayak building stuff is addictive. I have just put on my first 8 strips and it amazes me how fast three hours passes. My one concern is that the strips seem to have shifted down a bit around the bow (severe bend). My sheer strip is now about a 1/4 on an inch below the sheer line. Is this going to cause any serious problems or will my bow just not quite be as high as it ideally should be.
