I won't even try to recommend a boat for you. Everyone has different ideas of what is right for them. I will however recommend a way of deciding:
When I use to sell bicycles i would tell people to jusy grab a fw different models and ride them side by side. The one that "feels Right" is the one for you. The boats Nick, Rob, Jay and company offer are all great boats. SO here is how to accomplish this feat. Newfound Boatworks sponsers a wooden kayak/canoe weekend sept 14-17 in central NH. All the boats will be there lined up on the beach begging for you to try them. Then, you can dream away the winter working on you new boat wishing you lived somewhere where the water isn't rock hard three feet thick. Hope to se ya there
