Weather cautions

Hi Russ,
Yes, the static never lied when it was getting louder and louder. I was always checking the thunderheads also. Another thing that works much of the time for long term weather is when you see the mare's tale clouds along with pickerel scale clouds in the sky at the same time. Dont't remember the correct names. That usually ment bad weather coming in 24 to 36 hours. That worked about 70% of the time it seemed. And of course, red sky in the morning, sailor take warning was true because of all of the moisture in the atmostphere and the sun shinning through it at a low angle, I believe. I never had a weather radio, I should have.
