Hi all,
I am a native of San Francisco. Grew up in Brisbane and Redwood city. Now I live in Binghamton in upstate New York.
My building experience is limited to A canoe built from David Hazens book. A 17 foot micmac. I built it before i discovered this bulletin board so it was all trial and error.
My second project was a Guillemot expedition single. I discovered this boat by going to the Newfound Rendevous and test paddling a few boats. With the help of this board I feel like I turned out a fairly nice boat, For an Electrician. My third boat is a Skin on frame. It was built for my eldest son. It was built using the Robert Morris method. The boat is 15'by 23" Rolls like a dream. My latest project is another skin on frame for my youngest son. It will be 11'10" by 21".
Projects are few and far between as I am married with two children.
