We treated it as deadly -- lots of ventilation and respirators with fresh cartridges . Doubt if it is as toxic as what they are painting cars with now. Also treated it has highly explosive -- everything was out of the shop, no fire in the wood stove, no smoking, compressors outside (I have to hook three together to have the volume and storage to keep the pressure even). As it was, we probably lost a few brain cells but that's just culling the ones I haven't used for a few years or that I damaged in the 60's. However, it was three boats done in one day with no further work. Boats were hung horizantally from wires through the grab holes and the fellow was able to spray top bottom and sides at one go. His technique was to lay on a very light coat, let it get a bit tacky then load it up, let it set up and then repeat. (not sure what that all means 'cause I'm not a painter but it's what he said and he did it with only one tiny run in four full coats. Next time, I'm looking at setting up a temporary paint booth.
