Whod've thought? I still will look at the welds. I maybe pushing my luck here, it's hard to see with safety glasses over your glasses glasses. Too many glasses. My SOP is never to stand in the cut line, which is another good idea. In addition, I'm one of the minority advocates of NOT using a blade guard. The cheap one my saw came with was more dangerous, I felt, because it tended to catch on things. When I upgraded the fence ( GO INCRA!!) there isnt a guard made for it. Explain that... Eventually I'll put in overhead with DC.
