Velcro Adhesive - What Works?

Does anyone know of a good adhesive for sticking velcro to the 'glassed (and/or expoxied) surface of the cockpit floor?

My wife's very happy with her simple seat - made of minicell and covered with a cordura slip cover she made - complete with nylon zipper for easy removal and cleaning. She sewed strips of the "fuzzy" half of velcro on the bottom of the seat cover and we used self-adhesive velcro strips for the other half that sits on the floor of the cockpit. But the velcro strips pull right off the kayak when the seat is removed - not exactly what we had in mind. Is there any specific adhesive I can use to glue these strips down so they'll stick?

I also need an adhesive that will stick velcro directly to minicell for the 3/8" padding we're using on the underside of the keyhole deck (thigh braces of a sort). Anyone know what adhesive will work best there?
