Thanks a lot for the bug...

I just wanted to thank everyone posting in this forum for reinfecting me with the "Yak" virus. I first got kayak fever about 7 years ago when I lived in Tennessee. Then I moved back to Kansas and had all but forgotten about kayaks and canoes. Then about 3 weeks ago I stumbled across Spidey's website and was reinfected with kayak fever. So for the past 3 weeks I have been lurking here on this forum and have really been impressed with both the design of wooden yaks and the caliber of the posters. I have ordered 4 books on kayak designs and am in the process of getting a shop setup to start building my own kayak. I haven't decided which model I want to build yet, but I really like the lines on the Guillemot. Looks like the experience that I gained at a major boat manufacturing firm is going to come in handy after all. Thanks again all of you. Hope to corresponde with you more in the future.
