Plastic boat repair...........

As fate has it so far, I own a Dagger Magellan , (roto-moulded plastic)............Recently,found my boat with a dime size hole in the tip of the bow, probably caused by a weed trimmer from a lawn crew......(Thanks alot, guys.......)Does any one know, how something like this can be repaired/patched and still feel confident that the boat will not take on water, or get me in a bad situation.........Fiberglass....?....Would it hold....?...Or should I start thinking about an upgrade and another large expenditure.........?
