I would say good lighting is key. When I first started building the feather in my basement shop this winter, all I had were some fluorescent lighting. I was out at Home Depot one evening and picked up three halogen trouble lights (250W) I put them over my main boat building area. Since I put the halogen lights in the shop I seam to spend a lot more time down there. The halogen lights put out a much cleaner and crisper light than fluorescent lights.
